In general, the approach to training will be:

  • Multifaceted: While much of the learning will be hands on interacting with the system’s test environment, other approaches will be used including  eLearning, learning manuals, quick reference guides, and at the elbow support.
  • Just in time: Training will take place during a 6-7 week window prior to the system going live in order to ensure that learners are able to retain as much of their training as possible.

Regional accountabilities include high-level planning, regional resource planning, and curriculum development, whereas local accountabilities include trainer and superuser recruitment, logistical planning, and scheduling and tracking training.

Training will be provided by role rather than by module or functionality, and learners will be grouped together in like service areas as much as possible.
